What is your creative retainer?

It's having instant access to a wide range of professional design services minus the overhead costs of an employee, headaches of contracts or set hours per month. If you know you're going to need multiple tasks done, purchasing a retainer can save you money so you're not billed by the project.


How does my creative retainer work?

Unlike most retainers, I don't lock you into a monthly payment agreement with set hours per month. You can purchase and use hours whenever and however you choose. You can purchase my minimum plan of 10 hours and use all in a week, a month or spread over a period of months, it is up to you as long as it's within 1 year of the purchase date. (unused hours expire 1 year after purchase date) You can purchase more hours at anytime and your 1 year deadline starts over from you new purchase date.


What are some of the BENEFITS of my retainer services?

  • Discounted Hourly Rates: You can get hourly discounts up to 40% off my standard rates, the more hours you purchase the more you save.
  • NO More Deposits: Because you're paying for hours upfront, no more having to pay a deposit each time to get your project started or paying your balance to get your project delivered. You can call or email your project details and I can begin your project immediately and deliver as soon as it's complete.
  • Priority Services: You will receive faster turnarounds. You can have most projects completed the same day of request (turnaround time depend upon the complexity of the project).
  • Build a Partnership: No more getting to know your designer or having your designer get to know you. Since we will work on multiple projects together, I will know and learn more about your business. You won't have multiple designers working on your projects, this not only keeps a consistent design style, but this can also help in building a solid brand.
  • Pay Only for the Services You Need: NO more paying for lunch breaks, personal leave, or additional office space and equipment. I work out of my own location and utilize my own tools. I am able to work with anyone, anywhere in the world.  I track my time by the minute, so if a task takes 6 minutes, I deduct 6 minutes from your time.


What does the RETAINER HOURS include?

  • Consulting: All new projects will receive 1 hour of FREE consulting (discussing, brainstorming, researching project details), whether it's by phone, skype or in person; any more time will be deducted from your hours.
  • Graphic Design services (new or update) such as brochures, postcards, business cards, flyers, ad campaigns, letterheads, rackcards, booklets, infographics, etc...;
  • Web maintenance/updates (limited to sites I designed);
  • Management of 3rd party Providers: (I can work on your behalf with 3rd party vendors such printers, email marketing providers, web hosting providers, etc…)


What is NOT INCLUDED in the retainer hours?

New Logo & Web Design projects, magazine/booklets over 24 pages, printing costs and any 3rd party fees such as domain registration fees, web hosting fees, stock photos, etc…


How many hours can I purchase?

I have 10, 15, 20, 40, 60 and 80 hourly packages, however, I can customize an hourly plan to fit your needs (a minimum of 10 hours is required).


What happens if I run out of hours for my project?

I will make you aware that your hours are low before starting a project that require more hours than what you have left. The first 2 hours will be billed at the hourly rate from the hours you previously purchased and from there you can purchase more prepaid hours or be billed at my standard hourly rate for overage hours. A report is sent monthly on hours usage (reports can be sent weekly or biweekly as well)
